Special guest performances include:
- Celebrated company, Dance Exchange, performing a work in progress excerpt of Ground Loss by Dance Exchange Resident Artist Sarah Levitt.
- A new contemporary ballet piece created by Christopher K. Morgan for the students of the CityDance Conservatory.
Each performance will be followed by a facilitated post show discussion. Kate Mattingly, Visiting Assistant Professor of Dance at George Washington University will facilitate Sunday’s discussion, Saturday’s facilitator TBA. The discussion will give audience members an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the work by hearing from the artists, asking questions and sharing their own thoughts.
