Pheasants is a unique work of music, dance and history by Musica Aperta, depicting the court of Philip IV of Spain and his artist confidant, Diego Velazquez. The story unfolds through the eyes of Maria Teresa, the kings daughter who is not pictured in the famous work, Las Meninas, since she will shortly be wed to France in exchange for peace...

Morgan will collaborate with Sri Lankan dancer Asanga Domask in a new duet blending modern, Sri Lanakan and Hula dance forms. Set to the Rachmaninoff Preludes, the piece is a commission by Peter DiMuro and is part of the Intersections Festival.

Continuing to investigate work that bring intimacy to the stage, Limited Visibility will expose what one usually hides from public view. It represents an artistic milestone for Morgan, as it is his first evening-length work.
Inviting the dancers to reveal things they might only do in private, the piece will be a suite of dances connected in theme and design.
