Originally comissioned by The Phillips Collection for their exhibit, Snapshot: Painters and Photography, Bonnard to Vuillard,  and performed at The Phillips Collection in March of 2012 under the title Snapshot Confidential, Chanson explores imagery and moods inspired by the photos of the exhibition as well as the warm, romantic, nostalgic feeling of the music.

 

Said to be "A highlight" of the 2012 Velocity DC Dance Festival by Sarah Kaufman of he Washington Post.
