Chelsea Brown

Add-on Dancer

 

Chelsea Boyd Brown is from Annapolis, Maryland and graduated with a dual degree in Dance and Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park, in May 2016 as a Creative and Performing Arts Scholar. She has been performing with PearsonWidrig DanceTheater since 2014. Chelsea received Dance Place’s New Releases Choreographers Showcase Commission for 2016 and performed as an emerging artist in Velocity DC Dance Festival in 2015. Her choreography was performed at the John. F. Kennedy Center in 2014 for the American College Dance Association National Gala. Chelsea currently teaches dance and composition in Anne Arundel County’s Performing and Visual Arts Program. She is planning to pursue an MFA in Dance and certification in Dance/Movement Therapy. Chelsea performed with CKM&A for one season.
