Unpredictable Repeat Hesitation (2008)

A scored improvisation that investigates doubt and vulnerability Unpredictable Repeat Hesitationinvites viewers to control the performer's circumstances. The audience spontaneously creates the audio score by choosing random tracks from a playlist, or by stating the command "repeat". 

​

Creating circumstances in which he can investigate problem solving in performance, Morgan uses humor and random chance to play with the vulnerable circumstances performing artists put themselves in when entering the stage.  The work is as much about humanity as it is about the vulnerability of a performer.
